"When you look at all of the most successful hip hop artists, you find compelling stories. Who they are, where they come from and how they came to be. “ORIGINS” is a video series where artists tell their stories, explaining where they came from and the events leading up to where they are at in their careers.
For the first entry, we enlisted Curren$y to tell us his story over some music by Keelay. Shouts out to Curren$y, Court Dunn and Jonathan Master. “The Stoned Immaculate” in stores June 5th."

NEWS: Curren$y Sues Damon Dash For Releasing Albums Without Permission
Apparently, Curren$y is suing Damon Dash for releasing some of his music without his consent back in 2010. It's a big chunk of change, too. Of course, Damon Dash has already responded claiming he was given permission. A judge has yet to making a ruling on the case. Read more about the case after the jump.
